What a difference a week makes...

What a difference a week makes in Bradleys, we have our silver award for Customer Service and I now know I am being interviewed on Friday for The ESTA's We have submitted a very robust entry so fingers crossed, I know we are really good at everything we do at Bradleys, so it will be interesting to see if the judges agree! Apart from that lot the buyers reappeared last week and several of the offices reported an upturn with sales agreed as proof of the pudding.

We changed our Area Meetings from 3 to 2 last week and I think that 2 larger meetings worked better so we will stick with that for the time being, although it did mean some people had to drive a bit further. Hopefully the longer drive was counteracted by the benefit of a larger meeting with increased influences.

So what am I up to this week? I am visiting Helston, Hayle, St Ives, Penzance, Camborne, Newquay, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Newton Abbot, St Thomas, Exeter, Torquay and Paignton offices as well as starting our budget for 2013,  starting to prepare for our end of year conference and Brian will be back from his break in Germany so will need to be updated. I don't seem to have much time or energy for house building at the minute which is frustrating as we are nearly there with it, but then nobody said it would be easy!

More Awards!

It's been an exciting time in Bradleys which has contributed to the lack of blogging from me, smacked wrist and I will try to do better! The big news is Bradleys were awarded silver in the Allagents review site annual awards for customer service. While Bradleys are now rated 8th out of 10,000+ firms in the country by the independent review site we were given the silver awards for both sales and for lettings which was excellent. It is always gratifying to be recognised for delivering good service. I have also entered us for the ESTA's and myself and Chris Baxter spent quite some time last week putting together all of the detailed information required to submit an entry. I don't know if we can pull off a double in the same year but it will be fun trying!

It's Area Meeting week this week and I have combined what was 3 Managers Area Meetings into 2 larger meetings which will hopefully be helpful to everyone involved. We have plenty to discuss this week so we will have to wait and see if the format is better. After that I am back on the road with more office visits which is a great part of my job seeing how everyone is progressing and developing.
